PTE Core

PTE Core may be available in select locations. Many Ukrainian applicants take language tests in Poland or other European countries.

Ukrainian Education System

Ukraine has a well-regarded education system, particularly in STEM fields:

• Four-year bachelor's degrees (Bakalavr): Assessed as equivalent to Canadian bachelor's degrees
• One to two-year master's degrees (Mahistr): Assessed at Canadian master's level
• Specialist degrees (Spetsialist, 5 years, now discontinued): Assessed at master's level
• Doctoral degrees (Kandydat Nauk): Assessed at doctoral level

Процесс ECA

• WES: Requires transcripts and diplomas. Documents in Ukrainian need certified English or French translation. Given the current situation, WES has been flexible about document delivery from Ukrainian institutions.
• IQAS: Also accepts Ukrainian credentials
